Circle Edit Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 19, 2026
Circle Edit is an AI photo editing application. This policy explains how Circle Edit accesses, processes, protects, retains, and deletes information. Questions and privacy requests can be submitted through Settings > Feedback inside the app.
Information we process
When you request an AI edit, Circle Edit processes the photo you select, the edit mask you draw, and the text instruction you enter. The service may also process limited network and security metadata, such as IP address, request time, response status, and service-error information.
If you voluntarily send feedback or report an AI result, we process the report category, optional details, related prompt, app version, locale, and submission time. Language preference and project history are stored locally on your device.
If you sign in with Google, Circle Edit processes your Firebase user ID, name, email address, authentication tokens, AI-credit balance, reward history, and purchase-entitlement records. Circle Edit uses Google Play Billing for optional purchases and Google Mobile Ads for optional rewarded ads. Google may process purchase identifiers, Advertising ID, device information, IP address, and ad interactions. Circle Edit does not receive payment-card details.
How information is used
- Perform the AI edit you requested and return the result.
- Prevent abuse and prohibited generation.
- Protect service availability and control excessive use.
- Investigate errors and security incidents.
- Review feedback and improve safety.
Circle Edit does not sell personal data or use submitted photos and prompts for advertising.
Service providers and transfers
The selected photo, edit mask, and prompt are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS to the Circle Edit server, Yunwu API, and the upstream image-model providers needed to perform the edit. Hosting and network providers may process limited operational metadata as service providers.
These providers may operate in countries different from yours. Their handling of information is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices. Do not upload identity documents, financial records, confidential material, or content that you do not have the right to use.
Retention and deletion
The Circle Edit application server does not intentionally retain submitted photos, masks, or generated images after a generation request completes. Providers and infrastructure may retain limited security, abuse-prevention, or operational logs under their own policies and legal obligations.
Generated images and project history remain on your device until you choose Settings > Clear local data, clear application storage, or uninstall the app.
Feedback and AI-result reports may be retained only as long as reasonably needed to investigate the report, improve safety, prevent abuse, or satisfy legal obligations. You may submit a deletion inquiry through in-app Feedback and include the approximate submission date and details needed to locate it.
Security
Circle Edit uses HTTPS encryption in transit, limits accepted file types and sizes, rate-limits requests, restricts concurrent and daily generation volume, and keeps AI credentials on the server rather than inside the app. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Your choices
- Cancel before an image is uploaded.
- Use the Android system picker to provide only one selected image.
- Avoid optional feedback and report details.
- Clear local projects and generated files in Settings.
- Submit privacy or deletion questions through in-app Feedback.
Children
Circle Edit is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit images or requests that exploit or sexualize minors.
Changes
This policy may be updated when app functionality, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are published.
